Captain’s Log: Saturday, 22 July
Distance: I don’t know how many kilometres we walked through the city…
It has been a very, very hot day, but we walked through the city anyway, theough the narrow streets and over the small bridges. I now like it even more.
I’m just wondering, why do they have doors right to the water? Like, you’re going out in the morning, all sleep drunken, and you forget that there’s water and you will be wet in a second.
This cat looked like she knew exactly what she was doing, lying in the window like that, so that everyone who passed by could see her.
The Markusplatz wasn’t that full of people as I expected, but maybe that’s because it has been so hot, like really hot, we almost melted while walking around. Fortunately the little streets were in the shadows mostly, but the place wasn’t.
In the evening we were able to see a huge ship passing by.

Ja….Venedig! So schön! 😊
