Captain’s Log: Wednesday, 26 July
Distance: Eastern of Ca’Lino – Ferrara, 90km
As I said, too much wind. The bicycle route was very beautiful judging from the landscape, it was lying a bit higher, so we were able to see the river Po the whole time, since the route was side by side the river, but there has been so much wind against us that it was as exhausting as driving up a hill.
And driving upstream did not help either. But however, it was still nice.
We both have been a bit too exhausted afterwards, so we sat down to a supermarket, maybe 15km away from the next camping ground, and had an Ice Cream. And water, a lot of eater, since we ran out too early. Theough the wind it was not that hot, but the sun was bruning down nevertheless, and we had not enough with us. But we are learning, I do not think that this will happen again.
Jaja….take as much water as you can carry! 😉
Hallo Lisa, Wind ganz lästig beim Fahrrad fahren , mag ich auch nicht. Seid ja flott unterwegs. Hier in Wien hats geschüttet heute. Tja die Wasser- Lernkurve ist dann heute gestiegen 😊. Passt auf euch auf. Alles Gute fuer morgen. Bissal Chris
