Captain’s Log: Friday, 15 September 2017

We left early in the morning. My dear cousin Florian was so kind to bring my Grandmother and me to the airport, from where we took our plane to Doha. But before that, still back at home, I finally decided what I could put in my pictures to make them unique. I mean, I do not have my bicycle with me now, so I cannot put that in front of the Sightseeing spots, so I took something else with me, which also easily fits into my bag.

I met this little fella the first time when I was in San Francisco with the school, back in 2012. I celebrated my birthday there and had a small box with me from my mother, which I then opened and in which it was.

Now I think, I should have had this idea far earlier, I mean, look at it! You can help me pick a name for it. I searched for the word “frog” in different languages, and I found following:

  • Poraka (Maori)
  • Chupa (Swahili)
  • Sammakko (Finnish)
  • Groda (Swedish)

If you would say, one of these fits, or if you have another suggstion, please let me know.

Besides that, there is not much to say actually, since expect watching Doctor Who nothing exiting happened durring the first flight.

But still the time flew by, and we arrived punctual in Qatar, where we had an around 2 hours stay. After looking around a bit and getting a bit of movement, we sat down in a Chill-out area.

It got dark outside already when we took off and headed to Chennai, where we will be picked up by our tour guide once we arrive, around 3 or 4 in the morning then.
