Distance: Madrid – Santiago de Compostela, by bus
Accommodation: Airbnb
Weather: Sun and clouds, and in the evening kinda cold with 22°C
Today’s note to myself: Since there did not happen much today I have none again
Today I took the bus to Santiago de Compostela, which took about 9 hours, so there was not much time to do anything else.
The bus ride was okay, at some points a bit crowded but I still often had two seats for myself, so I could make myself comfortable. The only thing I am always wondering about is, why does it always need to be so cold in busses?
Anyway, also the temperatures outside dropped, since it did not go over 30°C today as far as I know.

In the evening I arrived in Santiago, and luckily my bike did survive the trip as well. I was a bit worried because I had to remove the front tire and put the bike in a bag, but everything ended up being fine.
After I found the Airbnb, I decided to go out today again, so that I would not need to ride my bike around in the city tomorrow to have a look at it.

So that is the big cathedral which I think is the finish point of the Jakobsweg. There were a lot of people who looked like they did walk the Jakobsweg, and I have to admit, arriving there with the bus felt a little bit unsatisfying. But in contrary to others, the cathedral is not my finish point anyway.
