<\/p>\nCaptain\u2019s Log: Wednesday, 4 April 2018<\/p>\n
Accommodation: Ciak Hostel, Rome<\/p>\n
Distance: Around Rome<\/p>\n
Weather: cloudy, but not cold<\/p>\n
Today was not all too exciting since we both were already tired from walking. We took the Metro, which is also included in the RomaPass, to the Spanish Steps, which have been way less crowded than it was on Monday. We were even able to see the ground again.<\/p>\n
Afterwards we continued walking to the Piazza Navona.<\/p>\n

We were lucky that it did not rain while we were walking around.<\/p>\n
We looked up the prices at one of the restaurants on the Piazza, just for fun, and apparently 16\u20ac for a Quattro Formaggi seemed to be normal there? Anyway, we decided we would not get our last Pizza here.<\/p>\n
We then headed over to the Campo de’ Fiori, from where our way led us to the Jewish area. There was still an impressive Synagogue, which has also been a museum.<\/p>\n
The Tiberina Island was also on our way over to the Trastevere. Unfortunately we did not found a place to enjoy some Hot Chocolate there, but maybe tomorrow.<\/p>\n
Anyway, after a break we took the bus and the metro up into the north again to the Leonardo Da Vinci Museum. That was quite fascinating since it was an interactive Museum with models of Da Vinci’s inventions which we were able to move. It is fascinating how advanced his ideas and his technology had been already.<\/p>\n
But it was also a bit, let’s say weird.<\/p>\n

That was a scuba diving concept, and the next one was a concept for swimming faster.<\/p>\n

I felt a bit… watched. However, many of his ideas seemed to be for designing weapons or how you can easier win a battle.<\/p>\n

That was a double hulled ship, in case of if the outer one had a hole or something like that, the ship would still not sink since it still has the second one. Apparently petrol tankers have it as well today.<\/p>\n

It got kind of crowded then, but we managed to take a closer look at everything, before we had to get out again.<\/p>\n
We walked back to the Spanish Steps to relax a bit, before we decided to return to the Hostel already. It was still kinda early, but we were both tired and I wanted to go to the Bujinkan Training today as well.<\/p>\n
Which I then did. The trainer, whom I have asked before if I could come again, remembered me, as well as two other other students there, which was kind of nice. Since the style is a lot of different than the one I am used at home, I felt like I have not learned anything or have not improved at all since the last time I was there, but maybe I can try to train the things, he told me today about, at home as well.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
