Why am I doing this again?"},"content":{"rendered":"\nCaptain&#8217;s Log: Wednesday, 5 June 2019\n\n\n\n\nDistance: Konstanz (08:45) &#8211; Z\u00fcrich (17:30), 89km\n\n\n\n\nAccommodation: With a friend of mine\n\n\n\n\nWeather: HOT\n\n\n\n\nToday&#8217;s note to myself: Even if you&#8217;re pushing up the 100th hill today, don&#8217;t forget that you&#8217;re there to see the landscapes and the nature of the country. Even though, once I turned south, there was the 45 bicycle route too, which led to Z\u00fcrich and which I followed, so I had no troubles of finding my way, most of the time. Sometimes I still went wrong. And I noticed again, that I really do not like navigating through cities. Winterthur was absolute horror for that matter. \n\n\n\n\nAfter I turned away from the Rhine, it was very hot and the way led over more hills again, mostly in the sun again, but one time I was able to drive through a part of a forest, which was very nice.\n\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"2048\" height=\"1152\" src=\"https:\/\/www.decker.wien\/lisa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/20190605_160748549535924.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1919\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.decker.wien\/lisa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/20190605_160748549535924.jpg 2048w, https:\/\/www.decker.wien\/lisa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/20190605_160748549535924-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.decker.wien\/lisa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/20190605_160748549535924-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.decker.wien\/lisa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/20190605_160748549535924-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.decker.wien\/lisa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/20190605_160748549535924-1500x844.jpg 1500w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 2048px) 100vw, 2048px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\nI got startled by an self-moving lawnmower because I only saw it out of the corner of my eye, and it looked like some weird, gigantic bug crawling on the ground.\n\n\n\n\nThe smaller cities I came through, the ones with the main road just leading straight in and out, were very beautiful and kinda cute.\n\n\n\n\nNavigating through Z\u00fcrich to get to my friend&#8217;s flat was not so nice either. Especially since my saved route on Google Maps wanted to send me on some gravel roads instead of the main road  even though they had bicycle ways. Which just reminds me, once somewhere traffic got a bit busier, there were always bicycle ways.
