Distance: Bourg-Saint-And\u00e9ol (19:00) – Avignon (16:30), 80km<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Accommodation: Camping du Pont d’Avignon<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Weather: Sun and a few clouds<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today’s note to myself: Just keep swimming, aah, cycling!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am not going to write much today, since I am already very tired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The way today, despite being the Via Rh\u00f4na, did not follow the river. In fact, I only saw the Rh\u00f4ne when I was crossing it in the beginning of the day, and when I crossed it again in the end of the day in Avignon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The route led through plantages and grape fields, in very snake-like lines and not in a straight one, which is also why it took me the whole day to finally get to Avignon. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At some point the signs of the Via Rh\u00f4na sort of led me in a circle around a city, where I decided that it was enough. Instead the signs I followed the main road because at least this one led south in a more or less straight line. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But at last I finally arrived in Avignon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
