<\/figure>\n\n\n\nAfter one failed attempt to find a way at the coast, which led to a dead end, I decided to take the other way, which led parallel to the highway. At some point though I thought, if that is the last day of travelling along the coast, then I would want to go along the coast. So I changed my path again, which caused me a detour of a couple of kilometres, but whatever, Valencia was not that far away anymore.\n\n\n\n\nI was at the esplanade again of a touristic town, when Google Maps tried to lead me over a closed road. I think, there was some sort of festival on the weekend, so I understand why it was not marked as closed on Google Maps, but it was still annoying, because I had to search another way around which also caused a couple of kilometres as detour. At some point I ended up on a “road” again, where I did not even know if I was allowed to go there. But nobody prevented me so I just went along, until I got to the coast again.\n\n\n\n\nAccording to Google Maps, there was a way at the coast which I was supposed to take. And I just got proven again that I seem to put too much trust into that app. This path I was following, was maybe made for good mountain bikes and mostly hikers I guess, but definitely not for trekking bikes with luggage. At some point I had to get off and push my bike horizontally, because I was not able to ride it there anymore.\n\n\n\n\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/www.decker.wien\/lisa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/20190706_123630-359878386.jpg\")
<\/figure>\n\n\n\nLooking back, it does not look that bad, but believe me, it was. But at least the view was nice, and I got to the next esplanade in the next tourist area again.\n\n\n\n\nThere I needed to go over some wood ways, and even though I was listening to music, I could hear the tires rolling over these wooden planks. But apparently other people were not able to. I admit, it might have not been a specific bicycle way, and you would not expect one there, but if I would hear something like my bike behind my back, coming closer, then I would at least turn around and take a look? Maybe the people around here are more relaxed or just do not like to think about stuff, but I often had to stop and wait until one group of people moved a bit to the side.\n\n\n\n\nAnyway, the last bit of the say I had to go alongside the highway again, because it was parallel to the coast. Google Maps tried to send me over a nonexistent bridge over the highway, but it found another way too. To its defense, it looked like there either had been a bridge at some point, or they build a bridge there at the moment.\n\n\n\n\nOnce I arrived at the Airbnb, I went to the supermarket to get some food for cooking. I actually planned to go outside a little afterwards, but, as always, I had too much to eat, so I spent the rest of the evening relaxing.
