Captain’s Log: Sunday, 30 July
Distance: Lake Bilancino – Florence, 39km
After some more hills, pushing up, a lot more sun and a finally long downhill route we finally arrived in Florence, still the three of us. Even though we did not do a lot of distance today, we were still exhausted. It seems that the sun has a lot more effect on us than I thought.
In Florence we first sat around in a park, eating and talking, before we looked up some hostels. After driving through the city and getting to one after another, since most of them have been completely booked, we finally found one.
We walked through the city then, but Moritz and I planned already to spend one more night here, so that we could take a proper look around tomorrow.
