Captain’s Log: Wednesday, 9 August
Distance: not much this time
Since we did not do a lot today, I almost forgot to write something. We both thought it would be more intelligent for us to relax a bit more instead of walking around in the heat for several hours again. I mean, yes, you could ealk around in Rome for a long time and still not be able to see everything of it, but we have seen the most important sites, and relaxing before we both start bicycling again seemed to be the better choice for us.
So we just walked over to the Forum Romanum, sat in the shadows, watched the tourists passing by, before we changed the location to a little Café, before we returned to the Hostel again. This may seems surprising, but it was already afternoon by then.
Afterwards we started a chess game, which unfortunately we had to stop in the middle, because I had to leave for my training.
The training was very interesting. I was able to notice that I have not been in one for almost 2 months now, and this one was a bit different from the one I am used to in Vienna as well. But it has been very fascinating to see the many similarities and differences. The only “bad” thing I noticed and I remembered now is, how much I actually miss the training.

Touristen anschauen ist eh lustig! 😁
Hat ja auch was, am Forum Romanum in einem Café zu sitzen und zu chillen! 👍😊
Und kein Eis heute? Pause muss sein , man braucht ja auch Zeit die vielen Eindrücke zu verarbeiten!😴
