I. Flight to Naples

Captain’s Log: Monday, 26 March 2018

Accommodation: Hostel of the Sun, Naples

Distance: Flight from Vienna to Naples

Weather: cloudy, about 14°C

After long waiting, we, Jessy and I, finally started our journey to Italy.

Since it is only the first day, there is not much to write about.

My frog, which I think I’m going to call Galileo now, is with us as well. Since I did not have him with me the last time I was down here, he now gets a second chance.

I was a bit tired today, since I have been up all night to write a term paper for the Uni, which I did not want to wait for me after the holidays. Because of that, I did not sleep at all, but that was not such a big problem actually.

The flight was quite short, maybe about an hour, and without any special happenings. We got on a bus to the harbour, from where we walked to our hostel. The reception was very nice, they even told us how to get to Pompeii and the Vesuv, and what Sightseeing places we should visit in Naples.

Afterwards we took a short nap, which was a bit confusing after waking up again, because I actually thought it was 7am in the morning on the next day, and Jessy said something about having Pizza now and I was like, what? In the morning?

Maybe the lack of sleep had a bigger influence on me more than I thought. Anyway, after a short explanation, we then went to the Pizza place the woman at the reception told us about.

All in all, the first day was not that exciting, but tomorrow we are going to visit Pompeii, so there will be more pictures then.
