Captain’s Log: Tuesday, 23 July 2019
Distance: Mira (10:00) – Paredes da Vitória (18:00), 106km
Accommodation: Camping Paredes da Vitória
Weather: Clouds, sun in the afternoon
Today’s note to myself: uhm
I started a little later than usual today, but at least I managed to book a flight home now. It was quite cold in the morning, I even had to wear my long sleeved T-shirt. It was not foggy and it did not rain, but it was also actually not really a weather to go outside.

Anyway, I followed once more the main road for quite a long distance, until I could turn right to the Estrada Atlántica. And I have to say, that is exactly how I like my bicycle way.

Parallel to the street, but an own lane, and almost no other people on it.

There were very long straight streets today.

But in the end I was able to the the Atlantic ocean again.

After arriving at the camping ground, which might be the most cheapest one I have ever been to yet, I went down to the town later in the evening. I actually wanted to get something to eat there, but they mostly sold fish food and meat, so…
But I was with my feet in the ocean!

Later I sat down on a perfect spot with my own food and watched the sunset in the sea.

As far as I know, the next two days to Lisbon will not be at the coast anymore, but further inside of the country. So that was more or less my farewell to the Atlantic ocean.

Wow! Das ist wirklich eine schöne Strecke gewesen! ❤
Zumindest warst du mit den Füßen drinnen….im Atlantik 😂
Und so ein herrlicher Sonnenuntergang! ❤ Absolut perfekt! 🤗
