Accommodation: Airbnb in Trondheim
Travel Day: Oslo – Trondheim
Weather: Sun with occasionally rainclouds
After leaving the hostel in the morning, we waited again on the main station for our next train up to Trondheim. But this time we only waited because we were early, the train arrived and left on time, which makes the Norwegian Trains already more reliable than the Deutsche Bahn.
We only took the train for a bit longer than an hour, until we had to change into the next one. Now the area slowly started to change and it started to look more like Norway now. Unfortunately the window on the next train was a little bit dirty, so the pictures were not the best, but here have som impressions of our tour with the train.

It was quite a long journey, almost 6 hours with one train, but I think it was worth it. The only problem was, we always wanted to stop at all these beautiful lakes we passed by. For the next time we now know that we definitely will take a car instead of the train. It might be a bit more difficult, but then we could stop everywhere we want to take pictures, and that’s definitely worth it.
After the long journey we arrived in Trondheim.

The first impression was already way better than in Oslo, even though you should not compare those two cities. Trondheim seems more laid back, more calm and comfortable, but it is also waay smaller than Oslo. But I like these kind of cities a lot more than big ones.
After we brought our luggage to our next Airbnb host, a lovely old lady in a very nice house, we decided to go out again, since a thunderstorm was coming and the clouds looked so awesome.

I mean, look at it, it almost looked like a small hurricane in its beginning phase?

It was not directly above us, but we got into the rain anyway. But that did not matter, we just waited it out at the castle-like thing, and were able to get back to the accommodation without getting too wet.
The clouds after a thunderstorm or even just heavy rain always look awesome, but especially in the sunset.

It is now quarter past 11, and it is still not really dark dark, like, dark as it should be in the night. But at least I can see stars now!
